I unable to go back to the park even the puppy is floating at the park.

I started the puppy oddesy quest today, which requiered me to grab the puppy in the park and take it home. When I took the puppy home, it seemed invisible in my sims arms. I clicked on the sim and then selected put puppy on ground (or something like that.) I thought it was some kind of bug and that is why I couldn't see it, so I closed the game and reopened it but still nothing. I went to the park and found the puppy floating in the air. I tried to call my sim to the park but it said that I couldn't take pets out of the house and that I should put it on the ground, which I had already done. I called another sim to the park but it couldn't interact with the puppy, like it wasn't there. Now my sim can't exit the house and I can't continue the quest. Please help!

Had the same problem...delated the Sim holding the puppy. Now the puppy is back in the park and I tried again. New Sim to the park, puppy on arm, went back to the house seperately, called the Sim home and then put the puppy to ground. This time it worked.

But this shouldn't be the only way to solve this problem...

I read the article, but it does not make me call the sim to the park as it tells me to place it at home, which I've done. I await further instructions

Hey all. I have solved this problem on my own personal device. Not a guarantee that it will work but I'll say what I did that seemed to fix it.

my puppy was at the park floating. The sim I used was at home and only able to be sent to work. It wouldn't let her leave her lot otherwise saying that I can't take a pet outside home. 

I did find that it let me send that particular sim to a friends neighborhood so I did. I then uploaded game to the cloud after I jumped to another sim. I deleted my game from my device then reinstalled it.

i sent a different sim to the park where the puppy was and when he got there he was able to pick the puppy up and take it home and finally sit it down. Quest worked fine and had no more problems. Hope this helps someone since this is frustrating.

I can't find the puppy after I brought it home. When my sims got home, it was invisible and when I tried to "sit down with puppy" it didn't work. And now I can't move my sim anywhere or take her to the park because it would say " You shouldn't take animals out of their home. Please set them down before moving to another location. " when my sim is not holding or doing anything. Please HELP! And Fix!

Please help.Can't pass event "the journey of a puppy."Buggy and puppy hanging in the air.I rebooted,still does not help.
