Missing microphone from the sims freeplay for 'Road to Fame' quest

I have unlocked all the instruments for the Road to Fame quest but the microphone has not shown in my store anywhere. I have looked in the teen section and everywhere else. I have heard lots of people...

    I have finished the quest by using my LP to do lucky spin. After a while I had unlocked all the notes.
