Pregnancy tasks not completing

Hello,

a couple time now, I’ve started my sims on a pregnancy group event task. I’ve checked their progress on the panel where you see all sims/their activities. Then when I go to those sims close to the time of their completion (for example, when another sim has completed a task in the same home lot) and they start right back at the beginning of the task!! HELP
