Re: ID number on Sims Freeplay for non Facebook players

I've tried every avenue possible , Firemonkeys, EA , Twitter and Amazon. They all play the blame game. That is it is the other guys fault not theirs.

It seems like Sims Freeplay is just an arm of Facebook , if you aren't on Facebook you are out of luck.

I am sorry but I am just another player

I can not help you any further

I can and do agree that this is a horrible situation that this should not occur

That everyone should have a PID with or without connecting the game

So true but I can't seem to get that message through to anyone that can help. I feel like Don Quixote.

Thank you for your concern. I'll let you know if I ever get a solution my problem.

    @untuddppowsa

I am so sorry - and a bit angry

They, Firemonkeys, say "Unfortunately at this time, they have no option other than to use Facebook."

Not the answer I wanted, certainly not the answer you wanted either

but at least we know how it is

Fire tablet users are in clear minority

One option is to start over on an Apple or Android device, not the best way, I know but it is an option

Then you could connect through Game Center or Google Play

Sorry again for not being able to help you more

I've been fighting this battle for 5 years. Yes , I am angry. As a level 55 player I am not about to start over and I don't have a Apple. Furthermore the game takes up too much space on my android phone. A good part of the reason I got a Fire tablet was to play games. Sims Freeplay in particular.

What I don't understand is why Sims can be downloaded on Amazon Fire but there is no way to recognize them. Somehow I get all the updates and most ironically they sure know how to take my money if I make a in-game purchase.

Thanks for trying and taking up my cause. It is something that needs to be rectified or EA should stop allowing it to be downloaded on platforms they don't support.

Kindle Fire Tabs are special. Kindle was made for reading, Kindle Fire to cash in on the app market

they don’t have their own app store so they made a deal with Google

Maybe it was too expensive to create a store own, approve all apps and updates, taking responsibility for what apps they put out etc

Perhaps the agreement between Amazon and Google do not include Google Play, just their store

It is an approved and supported device, since it is a mobile device

unlike emulatiors for the computer, like Blu stacks

I have been asking, for years, for another way to connect TSFP

since both GC and GP have had some serious downgrades done to them by Apple and Android, repectivly

and FB’s main mission is not gameconnect, so it is a low priority when it glitches

    Preferably through EAs own accounts

There is a way to recognise your game, just not a way you’re willing to take

and that is to connect it  to FB

I can see why you’re hesitant, the store you downloaded the game from already have your info and so does EA (with the account you’re using here)

There should be no need for others to get it too

Maybe some day there will be more options, but currently there are only 3, Game Center for Apple, Google Play for Android and FB for all devices.

My reluctance to join Facebook is purely personal. I'll continue to fight for equality.

    Thanks for your insight.
