Do you have internet connection? Or are you running some program on the background? Try turning your Ipad off and on, make sure you have internet connection and turn off any programs that you may have running on the background and try again.

I'm sorry i forgot to say what i've tried...

I tried to launch it after turning my Ipad off, after that i tried again but this time closing all the apps and it still didn't work.

And my internet connection was on. I tried again this morning and it still didn't work.

Are you using wifi or 3G connection? Try switching if you have both options available. Also is it happening only in one place? What I mean is are you trying using only the internet connection in your house or have you tried elsewhere like at work or school, friend's / family house?

I only have wi-fi on my device and i didn't try elswhere than in my house. Do you think it could be due to my internet connection? I didn't have any problem with other apps using the internet...

It's becoming a common problem.  Mine won't open either.  I haven't been able to get into the game for a week now.  If you look on the internet, lots and lots of players are reporting this problem.  Apparently, if you didn't back up to the cloud, it seems there is no recourse to get your game back.  If you find out otherwise, please let me know.  I am so disappointed and don't want to have to start my game all over.

    Yes, me neither 😕mileyfrustrated:

I hope EA will find a solution...

If I hear about something that could solve this problem, I'll post it here.

If you have a facebook account, I suggest you go to The Sims Freeplay page, there's a tab there that says Support and I've noticed that they have actually been replying to the issues that people have been posting there.
