Sims free play

I am trying to complete the weekly task of 'cook a meal on a stove'. I have had several of my Sims try to complete this task on different stoves, however the task doesn't complete. What is wrong?

    This particular task wasn't specific... Which is what made it difficult to complete. I ended up choosing 4 Sims to 'cook' everything there was to 'cook'. Turns out when it said 'cook a meal on a stove" it meant the turkey. Which by the way is classified under the 'bake' section and not the 'cook' section. I finally, after three days, accidentally completed the task by trial and error.

    Make sure you're choosing cooking not baking when you tap on the stove. Also open your task and read the dialog box to make sure you don't have to cook something specific. I've added two screen shots to show you what I mean.

    Good to know its the turkey. I just figured it was cooking and not baking since it said meal. Glad you got it.
