Sims freeplay suggestions

So I have been playing this game for years. Every time the crafting limited event come up I always take every sim I physically can and put them towards crafting for this event because I genuinely want the items. And I work really hard to collect everything. I have even put real life money into this game. I only have two issues. Firstly, I set up my sims to do the crafting before I go to sleep every night. I always do the most about of items craftable and yet every single time I never complete the event. I have only once even unlocked all of the crafting tables; and in the end I still could not unlock everything because I didn't have enough candles. Secondly, the botanical beauty event just ended while I had all my sims crafting. The issue here is that I am missing out on the last thing I could unlock because it automatically stops the tasks that are related to the event. This is absolutely unnecessary. At the very least it could let us collect the items with the miniscule hope that those are the last few items needed to unlock the entirety of the event. These are two very simple fixes I'm requesting because I have been playing this game for years and PC sims for longer.
