store error: unable to find offer

I am trying to complete the mysterious island quest.  Every time I click on the bridge to build it, I get an error message "store error: unable to find offer".  I play the game on my kindle, and I know I have access to the internet via WIFI.  I receive the same error whenever I try to build any other public building or buy lifestyle points.  Could you please help?
