[The Sims FreePlay] my Sims Freeplay has frozen on the opening screen

Hi my Sims Freeplay has frozen on the opening screen !!! No matter how many times I've reset my iPad it just will not work :/ is there anything I can do ??? After doing soooo much construction work etc it would be a shame to have to delete and re-install and lose all my progress money etc ....please help
