Time capsule quest

I didn't complete time capsule in given time and was informed I could extend the time. I did this and continued to play. Then I was told to wait until the next step of the game. When I reopened game about two hours later I was told once again that I hadn't completed game in enough time and could extend the time given so I did. The same thing happened again only this time the capsule has disappeared.  I have wasted two time extension bolt one and I'm now not able to finish the quest 😕😕
