Weekly Quest impossible?

Self explanatory in the image.

The Pigeon Bench also has no option to "Watch Birds" only different feeding options.

Am I missing something here, or is this a missing action in the game making this quest impossible? I also really dont want to spend 10 LP to skip it each time it appears.

    Ahhh be straightforward with these things, if i need a younger sim it should say it. It says fun for everyone, why can't I use a senior.

    There is bird watching bench for seniors only.  One at the park, skiing cabin, swimming center, and the community center.

    Those bird watching benches can be used for watching birds by any Sims from toddler up to adult Sims. Seniors use them for the bird feeding hobby, but can’t just watch the birds.
