Almost everything in TS4 is allowed to be worn by both sexes. Why can't my men have pretty eyelashes?? I unchecked the masculine filter and they STILL aren't there! I want my money back, EA!

there is no way to be able to get these eyelashes to appear on male sims. If you remove the masculine tag and add the feminine one, they still will not show in the catalog. All other eyelashes have been made (by Maxis) to suit both frames and therefore should with this maker pack.

I just purchased the Essential Lashes maker pack and tried to add the new eyelashes to my male sim. Even after removing the "feminine" (and all other) filters, only two eyeliners and none of the lashes are selectable/visible when I have a male sim selected. I also tried changing the male sim's clothing preference to feminine - the lashes still wouldn't show. Changing the sim's frame to feminine, adding the lashes, and then changing it back to masculine also didn't work - it removed the Essential Lashes and replaced them with other (Lovestruck) lashes instead.
All 10 work normally with a female sim selected. If this is intended, it should be noted in the product description; I definitely would not have purchased gender-locked eyelashes.
I have no CC or mods whatsoever.
Thank you!

I also have this issue. If this intentional gender-locking is a feature, please let us know so I can ask for a refund. I wanted these for my male sims and assumed they could be used for them just like the other lashes we have.

I just came here to say that I'm also highly dissapointed that the Miiko eyelashes do no show up for male Sims and I hope this was just an oversight.
They don't even show up if you remove the masculine tag or add the femanine tag. Eyelashes are eyelashes, they are not gender specific. :(

Hello,
I can confirm that the issue reported by other players is also happening in my game.
The item advertised as 3D eyelashes only appears as makeup, and no actual 3D eyelashes are available for male Sims as described.
If this is not fixed, I would like a full refund, as the product does not match its description.
Thank you.

YESSS thank you, I bought the same pack for my man sim and I kept restarting and looking up how to activate it or if it was even applied, it had me thinking for the longest time that I've been scammed and it just turns out I can't even use it on a man 😭😭 I felt so slow

Hi all,
This is currently working as designed as these lashes are only available for female framed Sims. Please feel free to provide your feedback on this design choice here if you'd like.
Thanks!

This is so incredibly disappointing. The pack should note this, as there was no reason to believe they'd be gender-locked. The other lashes we have are not gender-locked. Allthe swatches here are shown on female sims, but some of the eyeliners are NOT gender-locked, so that logic does not track. I will be asking for a refund. Honestly this is why I feel I can't trust the maker kits--they're incredibly unclear about things like this. I can't use cc on console so I was excited to finally have more lashes, esp for male sims, who don't often look as well-suited to the basegame and Lovestruck lashes. This really puts me off ever buying a creator kit ever again.
