Didn't receive Moola purchase
I have been trying to get a refund from the Sims team for months now due to not receiving my paid for in game Moola’s. I have money just floating around because no one is acknowledging my messages. I think it’s unfair to put a product out in the world that’s not operational AND has no direct customer service platform for their customer. I already was against the whole market place add one and this experience proves me right. It would be much appreciated if someone can reach out to me in reference to this issue . Needless to say, I will NEVER utilize the market place again for it is what I knew it would be, a great disappointment!
What do you want to see on the marketplace?
Now admittingly I do have mixed feelings about the marketplace but I am a console player. And I do not have acess to mods like I do on the PC. So if I see something that I really want I will be getting it. Now I am aware of the restrictions of everything being base game applicable, but all things considered these aren't restricted to their packs and should be fully usable on base game sims. CAS Antennae- this could be under the hat category or the new head decoration category. It should be available for sims infant and up and have diffrent shapes, lengths designs and colors. This would be good for a quirky sim as some sort of headband hidden under hair, and if you have get to work it is PERFECT for alien sims, or really any fantasy sim you want to add Horns and antlers- once again perfect for the head decoration category, you could easily give these to your base game sims to add a bit of spice. Or fancy up the plant sims to make them more nature themed. Or it could be for a kids Halloween costume. They would also go great with the enchanted by nature and get to work pack Tails- maybe your child's a furry maybe theyre a werewolf growing into themselves. Honestly I hate that werewolves are tailess, it looks sad and depressing and EA should have at least GIVEN us the option of a tail. Unique ears- fantasy ears are fun what can I say. Having unique non human ears for diffrent animals or diffrent types of elf ears instead of the pointy ones would be pretty cool. I know the furry sims players out there would appreciate Infant clothing- as the newest life stage infants are still very lacking in some outfits. Id love to see more styles for each category of outfit for the infants as well as new hairs Better lashes- the Sims 4 lashes are very....blocky, there are so many cute maxis match lashes that look adorable while keeping the more cartoons style,id love a little inexpensive set with some diffrent styles and diffrent colors More male hairs- our boys have been neglected in the hair department and there are many gorgeous male cc hairs out there Heterocromia- some sort of scar or skin overlay that allows for your sim to have heterochromia More eye colors- hopefully some of those really beautiful eye cc start coming in, it would be amazing to see on some of these sims Sin overlays- there are some stunning skin overlays that really bring life to a sim and make them so beautiful. It'd be lovely to see Although jewlery- more out there alt jewlery. Cool face piercings, or even stuff like belly piercings would be cool to see More hats- the hats we have in game are kind of lacking. Id love to see more alternative or styled hats that fit diffrent genres of clothing Alt hair- more alternative hair styles like wolfcuts, scene hairs, dyed hairs, funky styles, Mohawk, rocker styles ect. More black hairstlyes- black hairstyles, especially woman's are gorgeous and id love to see more of the amazing unique styles Male clothing- we need better lame clothing my goodness, diffrent styles and genres please we are LACKING BB more pop culture posters- like posters of popular famous sims, in-game shows, maybe alien themed posters or fantasy poster More clutter and decorations for each room, I want the house to feel lived in Uhhhhhhhhh Im not really big on bb ngl So yeah thats my list im curious what others would be willing to buy from the marketplace if it was added. The first few id 100% buy no questions asked
Bridgerton Items Not Available for Moola?!
I didn't intend to use the marketplace, but I didn't have the opportunity to purchase the kits I didn't own yet, but wanted, before they got moved to the marketplace. So reluctantly, I bought Moola and bought the kits I wanted. I still have moola left, because of course I do. I assumed that when the Bridgerton items or future kits were released, those would be available to purchase regularly and in the marketplace for moola too, because all the other kits are now, and I'd be able to use it up then. But these are only available for cash. Are they going to be available for moola at some point? EA_Solaire
Question About Maker Packs
Please help! I'm confused about Maker Packs. Are they Custom Content? I don't use CC or mods in my game, and there are several builds in the Gallery I'm interested in downloading, but they use Maker Packs. Are they the same as, for example, Kits that we would purchase from EA? Any info would be very much appreciated. Thank you!
Really wish I could return this pack...
Let me first say, I really like TwistedCat's CC. I use their CC clothing and hair in my game and love it (planning on getting the Urban Refined kit on the marketplace very soon)! But I just got the Lip Couture makers pack from them for 200 moola (about $2.50) and was pretty underwhelmed. It's 5 lipsticks and they all look amazing in the still screenshots on the marketplace; a good mix of frosted, glossy, and shiny lipsticks. But when I went to actually use them, I was really disappointed to see that there's no specular map, so they aren't actually reflective, glossy, or shiny at all on your sim. I took a screen recording comparing them to the Essential Glam Kit (by crypticsim x EA). Unfortunately, through no fault of TwistedCat (they clearly made very convincing glossy lipsticks from a certain angle), I just felt kind of lied to and taken advantage of? If this was regular/free CC, I could just try it out and say "oh, that's not for me, I'll stick with the other CC I like from this creator", but given that I HAVE to pay real money for this and it's EA-endorsed (just by virtue of it being in their marketplace and them accepting some cut of money from its purchase), I expected a higher caliber of product, quality control, and accountability. I tried to get a refund (just in moola) for it, but the person I spoke with in a chat had a difficult time understanding the issue I was dealing with, and I was unable to connect with a different agent or open up another case about it. I get that it's a new platform—and there are aspects of it I genuinely really like—but right now I'm pretty disappointed with how inconsistent some of these packs are and how truly difficult it is to try to get issues regarding it resolved with EA Help. There needs to be better QC if they're going to take people's money. Idk, has anyone else feel similarly? Maybe I'm being too harsh. I love CC creators and want to see them make money from their immense talent and hard work; I just don't think I'm convinced that this marketplace is a good way to do that yet...
Missing Content From Marketplace (Xbox)
I've noticed since the introduction of the marketplace, a few stuff packs are missing from my in game store. No content went missing from my actual game, but I couldn't find the butler pack when I was interested in buying it. There should be 20 stuff packs and 4 don't show up for me, regardless of if there are filters or none. Vintage Glamour Stuff - unowned My First Pet Stuff - owned Moschino Stuff - owned Tiny Living Stuff - owned Also attached photos of how they look on my marketplace. It's not too big of a deal since I can just go grab what I need from the Xbox store, but I'd still like to be able to preview the content to confirm it has stuff I genuinely want before purchase. And I'm not sure what else is possibly missing from the game packs and kits sections. Atp, it'd be awesome if the marketplace could just be removed, it's so wonky and not nice to navigate.
Remove the Moola requirement for kits on console
I truly do not understand the reasoning behind this. Maxis wants to claim that the implementation of the Marketplace and Moola is to benefit console players and allow us to have access to Custom Content. But now that the marketplace is implemented I cannot buy kits with money. I have to purchase a pack of moola and use that to buy a kit. This is absolutely ridiculous. Why on Earth are kits being locked behind microtransactions for console players? What is the reason? They are available for PC players as they normally were. There was absolutely no reason for this change. There is no logic behind this decision. It is poorly implemented, poorly thought through, and is honestly a slap in the face to console players. The fact that this is even a thing to begin with is disrespectful and unfair.
Marketplace Feedback
First off, I really like the idea of the marketplace! I like that kits have been moved into the marketplace and can be purchased with Moola, and are alongside other content from the community of creators! I do hope this means EA/Maxis will focus on making actual Stuff Packs more over creating so many Kits. Feedback: 1 The interface is huge and hard to see even one row of content in the marketplace, please make the interface smaller and more consistent, some elements are enormous others are reasonably sized. My monitor is 2560x1440 and is 27" there is no reason for the interface to be so big. 2 Filters: Add a currency filter to the filter options, so I can select Moola or real money. When selecting "Free" under the Pricing filter, it shows more than just the free content. Add Maxis/EA as an option under the "Makers" filter. 3 On the Get Moola page show the cost per Moola breakdown. Offer more consistent deals as the amount goes up. 500 and 1000 are the same value. 200 is 80/$1.00 500 is 100/$1.00 1000 is 100/$1.00 2600 is 104/$1.00 5500 is 110/$1.00
