Favorite Creator Items in marketplace? (Build/Buy mode)
Does anyone buy in the BB section? If yes, why Does anyone think the items in the Creator/maker kits are far less than EA's kits? Does anyone think that Creators item should contain more or the same amount as per EA's kits for the same price? I love to support my favorite Creator when their products are for sale on Marketplace - however, i know most Creators have uploaded their items in other websites for free. I myself love uploading my builds (EAID elizah81) and share them with the community because I love the industrial style/raw and minimalist designs. I rarely play with sims only to test my builds and see if they can move and use the items in the builds. Firstly, I was one of the first to purchase 5,500 moolahs when it launched - just to buy all the BB (build/buy) modes from the Creators I love and support, and also that the builds uploaded do not appear as CC. Secondly, I would like that the build mode be more classy (like free stuff outside of EA) like more doors/windows/fences/gates/stairs/wallpapers/floors/rugs/decor items/curtains/shades have more couture/modern clutter/minimalist stuff as well, instead of recycling what EA came up with.. Thirdly, the items from my favourite creators have less than the usual EA Kit (25 items for approx 450 moolahs) - instead the most i received for 400-500 moolahs were 11 items..... it really breaks my heart and wallet.... So I really want to support the Creators - I seriously hope they could do a great job (like they do their free version) and add more content - at least 20-25 items so your die-hard fans and their wallets won't feel so bad...
Marketplace Feedback
First off, I really like the idea of the marketplace! I like that kits have been moved into the marketplace and can be purchased with Moola, and are alongside other content from the community of creators! I do hope this means EA/Maxis will focus on making actual Stuff Packs more over creating so many Kits. Feedback: 1 The interface is huge and hard to see even one row of content in the marketplace, please make the interface smaller and more consistent, some elements are enormous others are reasonably sized. My monitor is 2560x1440 and is 27" there is no reason for the interface to be so big. 2 Filters: Add a currency filter to the filter options, so I can select Moola or real money. When selecting "Free" under the Pricing filter, it shows more than just the free content. Add Maxis/EA as an option under the "Makers" filter. 3 On the Get Moola page show the cost per Moola breakdown. Offer more consistent deals as the amount goes up. 500 and 1000 are the same value. 200 is 80/$1.00 500 is 100/$1.00 1000 is 100/$1.00 2600 is 104/$1.00 5500 is 110/$1.00
Curious about the response time for the Sims Maker Program
Hi there! Please excuse any awkward phrasing as English is not my first language. I applied for the Sims Marketplace Maker Program on April 8th. I’m curious about how long it usually takes to receive a response—whether it's an acceptance, a rejection, or just an update from the 'Pending' status. If you have applied before or happen to know the typical timeline, I would really appreciate your insight. Thanks! :)
Marketplace: No way to see prices on purchased kits
Once you purchase any pack or kit on the Marketplace there is no way to see how much it costs any where. (For example I get asked "what do you think of X kit and how much was it" and unless I've memorized the price of every single kit and maker pack, I have no way to answer that question).
Sofas & Chairs in Maker Packs need better comfort levels than just Comfort: 1.
This is just a bit of feedback in terms of all of the Sofas and Chairs we've been getting in Maker Packs, for whatever reason they all just have a Comfort level of 1 and I feel like some of them should have better comfort levels. I don't know if there is a specific technical reason as to why the Makers all have their Sofa and Chairs set to Comfort: 1 but I would like to see this changed and improved upon in future Maker Pack releases.Maker Program: How can I replace an uploaded ZIP file before final submission?
I am currently applying for the Sims 4 Maker Program and have encountered a technical issue on the submission page. I mistakenly uploaded an incorrect ZIP file, and the portal's functionality does not allow for a replacement. I would appreciate it if someone could teach me how to update the old file with the correct zip file before submission. Thank you.What do you want to see on the marketplace?
Now admittingly I do have mixed feelings about the marketplace but I am a console player. And I do not have acess to mods like I do on the PC. So if I see something that I really want I will be getting it. Now I am aware of the restrictions of everything being base game applicable, but all things considered these aren't restricted to their packs and should be fully usable on base game sims. CAS Antennae- this could be under the hat category or the new head decoration category. It should be available for sims infant and up and have diffrent shapes, lengths designs and colors. This would be good for a quirky sim as some sort of headband hidden under hair, and if you have get to work it is PERFECT for alien sims, or really any fantasy sim you want to add Horns and antlers- once again perfect for the head decoration category, you could easily give these to your base game sims to add a bit of spice. Or fancy up the plant sims to make them more nature themed. Or it could be for a kids Halloween costume. They would also go great with the enchanted by nature and get to work pack Tails- maybe your child's a furry maybe theyre a werewolf growing into themselves. Honestly I hate that werewolves are tailess, it looks sad and depressing and EA should have at least GIVEN us the option of a tail. Unique ears- fantasy ears are fun what can I say. Having unique non human ears for diffrent animals or diffrent types of elf ears instead of the pointy ones would be pretty cool. I know the furry sims players out there would appreciate Infant clothing- as the newest life stage infants are still very lacking in some outfits. Id love to see more styles for each category of outfit for the infants as well as new hairs Better lashes- the Sims 4 lashes are very....blocky, there are so many cute maxis match lashes that look adorable while keeping the more cartoons style,id love a little inexpensive set with some diffrent styles and diffrent colors More male hairs- our boys have been neglected in the hair department and there are many gorgeous male cc hairs out there Heterocromia- some sort of scar or skin overlay that allows for your sim to have heterochromia More eye colors- hopefully some of those really beautiful eye cc start coming in, it would be amazing to see on some of these sims Sin overlays- there are some stunning skin overlays that really bring life to a sim and make them so beautiful. It'd be lovely to see Although jewlery- more out there alt jewlery. Cool face piercings, or even stuff like belly piercings would be cool to see More hats- the hats we have in game are kind of lacking. Id love to see more alternative or styled hats that fit diffrent genres of clothing Alt hair- more alternative hair styles like wolfcuts, scene hairs, dyed hairs, funky styles, Mohawk, rocker styles ect. More black hairstlyes- black hairstyles, especially woman's are gorgeous and id love to see more of the amazing unique styles Male clothing- we need better lame clothing my goodness, diffrent styles and genres please we are LACKING BB more pop culture posters- like posters of popular famous sims, in-game shows, maybe alien themed posters or fantasy poster More clutter and decorations for each room, I want the house to feel lived in Uhhhhhhhhh Im not really big on bb ngl So yeah thats my list im curious what others would be willing to buy from the marketplace if it was added. The first few id 100% buy no questions asked
