Missing markedplace things
I have a question, I have bought and downloaded several things from the market but now I can't see them in my things. I could at the beginning of last week but then something must have happened because now they are gone. I have checked everything, and it is as it should be, I have also cleared the cache fileFree Maker Packs (Free Packs Added July 16)
Sul Sul, Simmers! Starting June 11, Free Maker Drops are coming to The Sims 4 Marketplace on PC, Mac, and console! Thanks to the participating Makers, over the next six weeks, you will find new free content drops featuring original Build/Buy and Create a Sim items. Each participating Maker has submitted one to two items, giving you new ways to style your Sims, refresh your spaces and add more creative possibilities to the stories you are telling. Shout out to the Makers who chose to participate, giving everyone fresh, free Sims 4 content. Here’s the scoop on everything coming your way: Six Weeks of Free Maker Drops Free Maker Drops are part of a limited-time pilot program, From June 11 through July 16, Makers will release free content every week. Each drop will be available for just four weeks, ending on August 13 so check back weekly. Jump in to make sure you claim them all while they’re here. June 11 - July 9 June 18 - July 18 June 25 - July 23 July 02 - July 30 July 09 - August 6 July 16 - August 13 How to Claim Free Maker Drops To claim Free Maker Drops: Launch The Sims 4 and head into the Marketplace from the Main Menu, Live Mode, Build Mode or Create a Sim Find Free Maker Drops on the Discover page under the Free section. You can also find them on the Browse page by sorting by Free. Select the Free Maker Drop you want to claim. You may see a Buy with Moola button with a price of 0 Moola. Select the button, then confirm by selecting Buy. Once claimed, download the Free Maker Drop if prompted. Return to the Main Menu before launching back into your game, and your new Free Maker Drop will be ready to use. Note: If you have auto-downloads turned off in Download Manager, you may see a Download Now button after confirming your claim. You can select it right away, or return to the item page and select Download. If you have auto-downloads turned on, your Free Maker Drop will download automatically after you claim it and will appear as owned. Meet the Makers The pilot program includes original content from Serenity, Syboulette, Miiko, SixamCC, Taurus, ValiaSims, AlexCroft, HYDRA, BrazenLotus, Peacemaker, HAENBI, and Boschiana.* The first two Free Maker Drops feature Sit Next to Me by Taurus, a two-item Build/Buy pack consisting of a loveseat and sofa, and Velvet Bow Heels by Miiko, a Create a Sim item for feminine frames only. Music Den Kit not available to purchase with Moola
Hello, I have a fair amount of moola, because I assumed I'd just be buying off the marketplace from now on. But the new kit isn't available to purchase that way. Is this an oversight? Other kits (like Wonderland Playroom) have a moola price. Are we just going to be having confusing pricing moving forward? Please consider changing this, thank you!
Breezy Living Maker Pack is the best one so far!
I just wanted to express how much I adore the Breezy Living Maker Pack by simspancake 😊 It has a total of 31 items and was at the time of me purchasing around the same price as a Kit. It has such a lovely variety of living room and dining room furniture and clutter items. I hope we get more Maker Packs with this amount of items for around the same price as a Kit.What do you want to see on the marketplace?
Now admittingly I do have mixed feelings about the marketplace but I am a console player. And I do not have acess to mods like I do on the PC. So if I see something that I really want I will be getting it. Now I am aware of the restrictions of everything being base game applicable, but all things considered these aren't restricted to their packs and should be fully usable on base game sims. CAS Antennae- this could be under the hat category or the new head decoration category. It should be available for sims infant and up and have diffrent shapes, lengths designs and colors. This would be good for a quirky sim as some sort of headband hidden under hair, and if you have get to work it is PERFECT for alien sims, or really any fantasy sim you want to add Horns and antlers- once again perfect for the head decoration category, you could easily give these to your base game sims to add a bit of spice. Or fancy up the plant sims to make them more nature themed. Or it could be for a kids Halloween costume. They would also go great with the enchanted by nature and get to work pack Tails- maybe your child's a furry maybe theyre a werewolf growing into themselves. Honestly I hate that werewolves are tailess, it looks sad and depressing and EA should have at least GIVEN us the option of a tail. Unique ears- fantasy ears are fun what can I say. Having unique non human ears for diffrent animals or diffrent types of elf ears instead of the pointy ones would be pretty cool. I know the furry sims players out there would appreciate Infant clothing- as the newest life stage infants are still very lacking in some outfits. Id love to see more styles for each category of outfit for the infants as well as new hairs Better lashes- the Sims 4 lashes are very....blocky, there are so many cute maxis match lashes that look adorable while keeping the more cartoons style,id love a little inexpensive set with some diffrent styles and diffrent colors More male hairs- our boys have been neglected in the hair department and there are many gorgeous male cc hairs out there Heterocromia- some sort of scar or skin overlay that allows for your sim to have heterochromia More eye colors- hopefully some of those really beautiful eye cc start coming in, it would be amazing to see on some of these sims Sin overlays- there are some stunning skin overlays that really bring life to a sim and make them so beautiful. It'd be lovely to see Although jewlery- more out there alt jewlery. Cool face piercings, or even stuff like belly piercings would be cool to see More hats- the hats we have in game are kind of lacking. Id love to see more alternative or styled hats that fit diffrent genres of clothing Alt hair- more alternative hair styles like wolfcuts, scene hairs, dyed hairs, funky styles, Mohawk, rocker styles ect. More black hairstlyes- black hairstyles, especially woman's are gorgeous and id love to see more of the amazing unique styles Male clothing- we need better lame clothing my goodness, diffrent styles and genres please we are LACKING BB more pop culture posters- like posters of popular famous sims, in-game shows, maybe alien themed posters or fantasy poster More clutter and decorations for each room, I want the house to feel lived in Uhhhhhhhhh Im not really big on bb ngl So yeah thats my list im curious what others would be willing to buy from the marketplace if it was added. The first few id 100% buy no questions askedWill Maker Pack issues be fixed?
I've noticed that almost all of the Maker Pack bug reports have little to no upvotes at all and this worries me because it seems that only the most upvoted issues are looked into. Since the Marketplace seems to be the new home for most new content, I would have thought that The Sims team would be keen to make sure issues with Maker Packs are resolved in a timely manner. There's issues that have been reported months ago and I think some of the issues are fixes that could be done fairly quickly. There's clocks in Maker Packs that don't show up in the clocks section, there's incorrect thumbnails, there's duplicate swatches, there's weird visual issues on wallpapers, assets incorrectly tagged. Surely these are things that could be sorted out sooner rather than much later? I enjoy getting content from the Marketplace, but I'd also enjoy it more if Marketplace issues were not treated as some kind of after thought.
Sofas & Chairs in Maker Packs need better comfort levels than just Comfort: 1.
This is just a bit of feedback in terms of all of the Sofas and Chairs we've been getting in Maker Packs, for whatever reason they all just have a Comfort level of 1 and I feel like some of them should have better comfort levels. I don't know if there is a specific technical reason as to why the Makers all have their Sofa and Chairs set to Comfort: 1 but I would like to see this changed and improved upon in future Maker Pack releases.

Unable to play offline due to kits purchase on Marketplace working as intended?
I recently took advantage of the Marketplace sale on kits and purchased my first moola to purchase a few of those kits. As someone who plays modded, on patch days I tend to play offline until most of my mods are updated in order to not break anything in my saves. I just attempted to load my save up and it's telling me I'm missing those Marketplace kits now and recommends not to load the save. I was already disappointed that the EA app doesn't recognize that I've purchased these kits due to purchasing through the Marketplace but now I also can't play offline for a couple of days after a patch. Is this intended or is there a way around this?
Marketplace Feedback
First off, I really like the idea of the marketplace! I like that kits have been moved into the marketplace and can be purchased with Moola, and are alongside other content from the community of creators! I do hope this means EA/Maxis will focus on making actual Stuff Packs more over creating so many Kits. Feedback: 1 The interface is huge and hard to see even one row of content in the marketplace, please make the interface smaller and more consistent, some elements are enormous others are reasonably sized. My monitor is 2560x1440 and is 27" there is no reason for the interface to be so big. 2 Filters: Add a currency filter to the filter options, so I can select Moola or real money. When selecting "Free" under the Pricing filter, it shows more than just the free content. Add Maxis/EA as an option under the "Makers" filter. 3 On the Get Moola page show the cost per Moola breakdown. Offer more consistent deals as the amount goes up. 500 and 1000 are the same value. 200 is 80/$1.00 500 is 100/$1.00 1000 is 100/$1.00 2600 is 104/$1.00 5500 is 110/$1.00
