No, and I will tell you why. They did this on Sims 3; the currency never matched real currency, so you always had a surplus. Then you are pressured to use it by purchasing more fake currency... but it never evens out. You end up spending 5x as much money as when you buy packs for a lot less content. I looked at the marketplace, and a lot of the content is copy-paste, a lot is 5 items for what you would normally get 20 or 30 items for the same price, and a lot of it is very low quality, and those that aren't are available free online. I have no interest in flushing dollars down the drain. Now, that is my personal decision based on my experience. I fear many young people are going to learn the hard way. If you are on Console, my advice would be to use that money instead to purchase a computer and open up the world of free cc. Every time you want to buy on the Marketplace, put that money in a holding account or envelope. You will be surprised how much you save quickly toward a pc.
