Yes, the kits are also installed in that folder. I didn't have the Country Kitchen kit, and it was installed there, not in the game folder.

What does this mean for a possible re-install? Imagine I have to get a new pc and install from scratch. Will the EA app let me install the kits I once bought traditionally in the normal place or only this unmovable hidden location. Being able to install on an external hard drive is something I am considering if I ever reinstall
Kits owned pre-Marketplace can be reinstalled through EA App as before.
