I just wanted to echo Crinrict and Bluebellflora that this is going to be a problem for a lot of players. I see dxdiags that list <20 GB free on C all the time, and an unsettling number with under 10 GB free. And some of these drives are tiny, with Sims 4 and the user folder already moved elsewhere, so there's not much the player can do to free up space.
I'm one of those players. I have plenty of storage on new drives I've added but my C: drive has less than 20GB and I'm always having to micromanage what's installed on it. I'm really concerned that a kit was installed there for someone... If they move already owned kits to be stored that way, I'm not sure I'll even be able to play the game anymore with what I own.
Kits you already own remain in the game installation folder.
