Well you can follow your favourite CC creators on Patreon, etc, and make sure they get nearly 100% of the money, better going into their pockets than that of the multi-billion dollor corporation that doesn't care about the players. You should do that for all games that have as extensive and thriving CC/modding community as TS4 does, best to help the actual creatives than those exploiting their work.
I believe the new marketplace would pay patreons more in the long run- 30 percent of each purchase of each pack of items and no bulk downloading everything at once.
