Tap on the couch? Look for a shelf? What on earth? Really? Nearly rearranged my whole space and still can’t figure out what is going on.

There is an issue that if you have anything placed under the shelf , it stops the slots being used. Try removing anything that is under the shelving and see if you can then place the Easter eggs.
