Re: Interaction with Sims of other players

1) Whenever you start a story with a sim created by another player, they'll receive a notification asking whether they would like to send you a friend request. It will look somewhat like this.(See the first two messages in my inbox). They will not know which story you've currently started with their sim.

2) Other players' sims are randomly generated in our game. If you befriend or add a sim to your contact from a party, you are likely to see them wandering about in your game. The auto generated blue plumbob sims are also not permanent and you will periodically see different players' sims in your game.

This also clears out how your players are seen in other players' games. The process will be random . If anyone befriends your sims and start a relationship with them, they'll see those sims in their game. I don't know if your interaction with other's sims affects their game, but someone here on the AHQ will clear that doubt for you.

Don't worry! This is an official website where players can chat about the game informally and share their thoughts and doubts. Happy gaming!

I've been wondering that exactly. About Sims created by other players that I see wandering around the game (not in parties), do my actions with these Sims that appear in my game (starting a relationship or even just talking to them once) make my Sim appear in their game?

  • @reomin I thought about this afterwards and experimented on this issue by befriending both my accounts together. I observed that activity done on my 1st account with the 2nd one's sims did not affect the game in my 2nd account. No sims from my 1st account were seen in the second account. This concludes that our interaction regarding relationships or contacts does not affect other's gameplay.
  • Please be aware that I cannot ‘Insert Picture’ from my iPhone 7S. Only half the inputting screen comes up. Just so you know. It’s been over a year now, and I think most players use their phones. This pic is from today, I think, or yesterday.
Also, I know this thread is closed but I’m putting this here as it is the most closely related topic and I’m not expecting a fix.
Also,🤯🙂 I cannot delete, so all the bugged pics from my system are still here. The issue resolved itself this afternoon and I’m posting the picture, and taking it down from Twitter now. It’s above.
The situation is that I have blue plumbob Sims in my game who stay for months and years. I also get new blue plumbob players who arrive already retired. I did get a pic of one sim who’s been in the game 11 months now. He is now retired and still playing in my game. This is him. I have used no mods in this game 100%. So the top viewable pic is him now, and the bottom sometime in December.

This pic is of a playing blue plumbob sim arriving retired. She may only be colouring her hair grey but when a lot of them are doing this it’s not much fun.😕

Another player started a story with one of my Sims, and I received a notification asking if I would like to send them a friend request. That notification keeps modifying the name of the other player's Sim between two names. I wonder if it's a technical issue, or if that happens when the other player simply begins two stories with my Sim using two of their Sims. 🤔

@reomin I can’t see your images in the spoiler but I think I can give you an answer without seeing them.
It’s most probably that your Sim has relationships with two different Sims.
