Ah, I think I understand what is happening, thanks for the screenshot, it was really helpful!

That screen shows you are going to get 15XP, 1 heirloom ticket and 35 Simoleons as the rewards for the day. The 3 Generous traits, with the SimCash icons you see mean a boost has been applied when the game decided which were your rewards for the day, and the SimCash icons are just the icon for the Generous trait. For example, you would normally get 25 Simoleons, but as your Sim has the Generous trait, a boost is applied and you get 35.

Do you know when you are doing an event, and the traits that are boosting it show on top of the progress bar? This is similar, it's showing you which trait is affecting the rewards.

Does that make sense now?
