Hello,
I have been having the same problem. At first I thought it was because my sim was gay, but then it turned out that my daughter can’t have a baby with her husband either because “she wants privacy”. I moved the bassinet into another room, I’ve put it in my store and then put it back, but no, nothing really worked :/
- SalixCat6 years agoHero+@sullyfumayz Could you please share a screenshot that shows the room where you have the bassinet and the bed?
Sorry, I was going to attach the screenshot before, but the ss was too large to upload, now I took a picture a resized it.
I solved the problem thanks to you! In one of the ss contains before picture where I had a coffee table in front of the table as a decoration and a nightstand beside the bed. I removed them and now my sims can have a baby. Thanks a lot!I’m naming him after you btw 😅😇😂

Can you move tha bassinet? I think it's not letting your Sim get into bed.
If I may add my two cents…
Sims don’t always woohoo in the same room where the bassinet is. Sometimes clicking “Have baby with…” will take them to a completely different room.
Make sure that all rooms with double beds are empty (clear them of all other adult, child, and toddler Sims).
This happened to me once before and it drove me mad, until I noticed that I had a bedroom upstairs with a double bed that had one of my NPC Sims in it. After I called the NPC Sim elsewhere, I clicked “Have baby with…” and my Sim immediately went to that other bedroom to woohoo with his wife.
Perhaps this is the case? Hope this helps! 😊
- @SalixCat I know your comment is 2yrs old but it really helped with the same problem just now. Thank you!
