if you want offense firepower bonus, you need to secure: Aircraft, Uranium and Tungsten.
if you want defense firepower bonus, you need to secure: Resonator
if you want resource production bonus, you need to secure: Tiberium, Crystal and Reactor.

On your way to the center of the world, you will find technical facilities like Reactors or Tungsten Compounds, Commander. These so called Points of Interest (POI's) enable bonuses for every member of your alliance. Now it's up to you to take control over one POI by claiming its territory.

Note: Losing control over a POI territory disables the granted bonus.
