Funds Part 2

After locking the previous thread due to some public information being shared by a certain individual,
could you please explain to me why this game has become so expensive and why EA thinks a 10 year old browser game should cost so much ?

By doing this EA has put a nail in the coffin of CCTA.

Simpy put, noone in '2nd and 3rd' world countries can afford 41USD for 50k funds and due to this pandemic most Americans and Europeans cant either.

So please tell us why do you think this is fair?

We have had no reaction from EA whatsoever eventhough almost 1000 players of set teams have called it quits except for trying to hide public salary information of EA executives being posted by someone.

  • HEY

We play a very specific game. Here, after breaking down the fortress, the game ends, and there is no trace of the money spent. In WoW, LoL, etc., after buying something, we have it all the time we play (we are left with e.g. swords, armor, etc.). Therefore, I do not understand the prices in force here.

You've already spoiled the game with PvP and PvE fixes. Two things that were the asset of this game. Now they are only a source of irritation and complaint. The players accepted them with more or less reluctance. Now, however, you have crossed the Rubicon.

If you want to play at the right level, you need to spend a lot of time and money on it. I've been playing this game for several years. I tried to stop playing a couple of times, but always came back. Recent changes, however, resulted in a final goodbye to the game. Thanks to all EA from my wife ;) ), for helping me make my decision. I'll find something less burdensome.

    P.S.

We have no direct influence on EA's decisions. The only thing that will hurt is to limit your cash flow. What you do is your business. However, I think smart players will have no trouble making a decision.

    Best regards
  • I'll go in with the cash amount I spent on TA funds last year to come together to buy the rights of the game from EA... then we could own and control it ourselves ;)

Unfortunately, help here regarding funding issues is limited, very limited. The only advice that can offered is to check with Paypal and with the EA helpdesk.

I know but I don't remember if the code for buy funds is manage from Envision or EA. :-?

If was an error in code they can check up.

You can dispute the charge here: https://help.ea.com/es/contact-us/?product=cc-tiberium-alliances&platform=browser&issue=dispute-charge
  • I've searched a little and it seems is an Origin error code. If, as your name suggests, you've got your language set to Spanish, try changing it to English - this has worked for others in the past. Some kind of mis-match is occurring. It maybe that changing language and location to match or the language to English will help. Also, try clearing cache and specifically and Origin or EA cookies and history.

    1) I have recently bought some funds with the Spanish language (with chrome) and the purchase process through the Paypal platform has worked "correctly" and I have seen the funds in my accounts immediately but ...

When I have reviewed the Paypal history, two payments already made and two pending from EA appear. What the hell is this? Will they charge me twice for each purchase?

  • Thank you @EE_Elephterion but for now I'll wait, only two charges has applied, the others are "pending". If finally go down, no problem, only a problem in code for buy funds about generate more charges o in bad way.

If the double charges will has applying then I'll start the dispute.

You can also dispute with your credit card.
