It's unlikely anything will change with regard to existing units. It's generally accepted that GDI is weaker in some respects than NOD and has been since there was two types of base to play.
in some situations it is weaker but introducing a slight modification, for example for testing, should not cause any problems,
especially if it turned out that it is a minor modification that allows you to even out the possibilities of acquiring resources in the game, it should be a
good excuse to do it. GDI
will never match NOD in farming, but a small Kodiak update should help ballance it and level the level of acquiring resources in the game that really give you an advantage and boost an off base.... i hope @EE_Elephterion finally find some answer for Us.
trying to make small changes that would help to even out the odds of the 2 factions
is not a bad thing at all. and immediately it is not necessary to assume that one fraction in advance must be weaker than the other. it's not about units but about upgrades that give a great advantage in farming posts and camps. when it comes to attacking the bases, the upgrades do not have such a big difference if the base lvl is 20 lvl higher. but in the case of camps it has a big difference!
In case of finally look both fractions changing a little shield to give it on all units should be checked. becouse its really ridiculus when you look at RT from both fractoin.
i dont think that developers stright from day one want one fraction weaker than other i think they want do a
2 diffrent fraction. and they do it perfectly....
but using a 2 units Cobra(sheild)+ salla(drainHP), getting resources and
paying low RT like 10-20 min per camp its not fair to GDi fraction people who
need spend 1-2h more RT for farming... its not ballanced at all specjaly when cost of
Command Points attack is same for both.
