Hi all, hi developers and hi EApeople wonder when you gonna stop the excessive usage of multi account for feeding main account?On the newest TIB world this got out of control. Some people (obviously many of top 20) running tones of account to feed the main account. On tib37 this is just a big disease… it destroys the game. Skill not needed, only the amount of accounts you have is important (and for sure the time you need to play this).In sports doping is forbidden but here EA accepts that some player use 5 -10 (or even more) accounts to feed their main account? What the hell?This is totally ridicules and it is not understandable that EA/developers are not doing a shit against that. Although it is forbidden by game rules (like in each multiplayer ogame).For what are the developers waiting? V1) That people stop playing CnC or V2) they hope that more people do the same to gain more money? (which is the logical consequence)… From developers side, shall this “we don’t do a shit”-attitude be the overall end for this game?I am very curious…reinePS: sorry for rough language, but hey this is a very serious matter!

Multi accounting has been common for years and discussed many times. The practical part of the issue is how do you prevent it? No acceptable solution has been found as, unlike many EA games, you don’t need to purchase the game to play.

I have 4 accounts that I play. They are all my accounts, yet, the difficulties I have logging on to each account has cost me more time and financial losses than I care to discuss. If EA wants to roll all those account funds into one single account, talk to me, I'd be happy to fund only a single account, it would make the mrs happy and EA not so happy but I'm all for it. 1st, someone explain to me how having multiple accounts is harmful, then explain how I can use them to feed my main account? If there's an exploit out there and you know about it, do share. If your referring to moving accounts around from alliance to alliance to grow them, well, if you can manage it, so be it. What I'd like to see is the alliances that succeed at hitting the fortress being forced to leave the server after they've accomplished their mission, not the alliance per se, the players in that alliance. That mission being the destruction of the fortress, therein lies the problem. The 1st team that destroys the fortress takes control of the server and decides who goes next and so on and on and on etc., blah, blah, blah. The reason they don't abandon the server voluntarily is due to once their alliance disappears, so does the fortress stat info. If a team takes the fort as the # 1 team, they should remain in the "hall of fame" for all eternity. Every alliance should have to "earn" their badge on their own and not be subjected to an "fort team" that dictates who gets a badge and who doesn't. That's not what I spend $$$ for and I'm sure many others can relate, through battle, diplomacy, treachery and players should NOT be punished for fulfilling the games intended purpose. You already took away most incentives for PvP. This is a beefed up version of farm-ville (sorry, never played farmville and never will). Why not give ... and I'm gonna hate myself in the morning for even suggesting it ...if and alliance is drawn into PvP, doesn't matter who or what initiated it, if I'm attacking an enemy base and I can destroy it, why not offer up the option to "capture" the base instead of destroying it. I get to keep it for 24 or 48 hrs depending on the capture time and yes, that creates another exploit opportunity so work out the mechanics/glitches and let the rewards of the base resource production go to the battle victor and STOP punishing players for fulfilling the games purpose. FYI, the game is not dying because of cheaters, the game is dying because of ..well, at the risk of being tossed back in EA/Envision Jail ...GREED ...by EA and the developers including Envision, I've lost more TA funds than a little bit due to all of these "server" maintenance and "patch" issues that have resulted in days upon days of down-time, I buy blocks of CP/RT and resources on 30 day cycles, not 29, not 28, not 25...I think you get the picture...those pennies add up to millions of dollars in someones pocket and I end up losing a lot of resources, not to mention servers and "the pursuit of happyness". Further, EA/Envision employees/executives/developers have the "perk" of being allowed to play the game, why? and how can you possibly convince me that that is in any way, shape or form fair? Your starting out with a 100,000 CP/RT advantage or more.

This is a funny thread.First of all let's make one thing clear: Please EA make multiaccounting impossible and save me tens of hours a week - my wife would appreciate it :)Regarding the conversation of allowing 1 alt but no more: In my opinion it doesn't matter if you have 1 or 100, the only difference is time, effort & money you need to invest to the game. Should we also propose that stealing under 10€ worth is OK but >10€ is not? Sounds a lot like your not able to spend either the cash or the time to perform in top5... or you don't have the will... or as in most cases; the skill. Please EA, If you ban multiaccounting do it well. We have seen enough of you guys fucking things up in the past years of the game. I would personally expect something like: NO alts (including any territory holders, POI holders etc.) While your at it, also start to ban players sharing login details (FYI: that's against the current rules).I don't see how multiaccounting could be banned. Yes the dynamics can be changed to make it less lucrative but I'll leave that to EA.Btw, should EA like to make this game fair for everyone, there wouldn't be a funds factor either. -Hessups. please keep whining about these matters also in the future, it's good fun for everyone of us not expecting life to be fair :)

It's getting ridiculous, i was playing in 2014. Coming back now because i have a lot of free times. This multi-accounting is just totally annoying.A lot of "free to play games" are just "pay to play". C&C Tiberium is ok about that, with just a bit of fundings and a good strategy you can compet the best.But this multi-account is totally killing the game... People are using 3 Alts for feeding the main account...

If the accounts are paying subscribers, you can have as many accounts as you are willing to buy come from the same IP address with no limitations.

that is some odd family. In any case, at the very least they should not be hitting the same bases so they could do a smart application of the duplicate address solution. Lets see what the Devs have come up with in January..

I have been on many servers with father/son groups. Often it is father helping son along by starting off a base etc and letting the son have the kill. Man/partner combos are also around. I don’t find that strange!

This is banned in Ogame for example and I guess in a lot of games,
Not because it's bad to see a father that help his son, but because if you allow this, then some players will suddenly have a lot of father helping them :blush:

But main problem on this game is the lack of ingame moderation, some players found exploit to steal the lock combat that is worse than previous lock exploit with alts accounts since you can lose the lock even when you should have it while attacking the guy.
But since no one is banned for using it, everyone need to use it if they want to win.

have you seen the amount of multi accounts on firestorm 11? ita a piss take to say the least! ive been enjoying this game for years now but i cant compete to this, now i stopped most servers i play on, deleted all my bases, its really unfair, also even when they finish the game they then proceed to block the middle and only let their wings go next for the badge, THIS NEEDS TO STOP AND IT NEEDS TO STOP NOW! we all know as a fact EA will never ban these accounts because they are the ones paying EA wages, waste of time even commenting on this as nothing ever happens! so long EA!

I think we are talking about several things at once.
- The issue of multi-accounts
- The issue of blocking the center
- The issue on the wings theme
As usual, we each have our own opinion.
1) If someone is able to have a multi account, you can pay for them and have time to play with all accounts, enjoy it.
2) When the strongest block the center is wrong but I see it normal when those who remain to attack the center are like enemies
3) If a set of alliances (wings) have helped your alliance to destroy the fortress, it is normal that now the favor is returned to them helping them in their effort ahead of other alliances
Note: Do not forget that diplomacy exists in the game and through it we can achieve things (or lose them).
