New World: One And Done?
OK, you get (hopefully) 50 accounts (not players) in an alliance and working together, willing to spend more time & $, use any 'advantage' (whatever you want to call it) , 'do whatever it takes', to get that cherished 1st badge, or maybe the 1st 2, 3, whatever - great! EA gets paid (and makes $ so the game exists) - challenges others to beat 'you' to the center - its all good! Kinda the 'purpose' of the game. Got no issue with (most of) that.
Also, the rules allow, and in some cases will occur - accounts (not players) badged 2, 3, 4 ff kills ago with bases 10, 20+ lvls higher to take out 10, 20+ bases at a swing, stifle any alliance or alliances, any size, claim any pois as their own, maybe even surround pois and center, max out def, then split to the next world. Those deemed worthy can/might badge.
To me (also a paying customer) this is a big drawback to the game. From my vantage point & experience with it over years this would apply to an interesting % of actual players (not accounts), some now former players due to these 'rules'. (And how much do you spend after you've killed the ff 1, 2, 3 times?)
How 'bout
* an account is badged, its basically done, no more PvP (unless attacked), & vice versa?, no holding POIs, etc. * limited time to take ff once alliance takes hub base * possibly a (much) lower limit on $ spent/month
Basically, ok to stay but limited to 'helping take the FF', or - you join/start a new world
Obviously would need to be refined - you get the idea...
The game itself is ok, willing to spend some $, but no longer on what's being offered; my opinion / feedback. 'Selfish' maybe, but also hoping to keep some players (not necessarily accounts, apparently), "in the game".
