PSA: Alts Ruin the Game

The developer's position is unique. Yes, we know that something is killing the game, but we will not change anything. The problem is fixed so simply that it seems that it is not fixed on purpose.

Until the final attack the system wouldn't know how many attacks are going to be made.
Player one makes 4 consecutive attacks and another player comes along and makes one to kill the base. How does the system know that there are going to be 5 attacks?

Player one makes an attack, Player two makes an attack then player 3 comes along and makes 4 more to kill the base. How does the system know in advance what is going to happen?

In all cases, the system can't predict who is going to attack next nor what the total number of attacks is going to be.

The only way anything like this would work is for the system to record the number of attacks and amount of damage until a base is killed and only release the resources after the base is killed. If it is never killed, then no resources released.

Unfortunately using alts for killing bases isn't their only misuse!

Chad joins every server with 4 alts and then name drops me. I have never complained about alts in general ,the only complaint I had was a WCS with no competition.

i'm perfectly happy to have no alts if chad gets rid of his, i just use mine for pvp fun.

gamerdruid it is the simplest and most effective tool. Even one alt gives a huge advantage in skillful hands and you are here talking about 10. It's ridiculous to listen to all this to be honest. You breed noobs who think they are great players. You yourself worsen the financial result by allowing this tool, you just do not understand it yet.

somebody already mentioned the solution: you only get ressources for bases by shooting alone. As soon as a 2nd account is involved = 0 ressources.

Don´t complicate it. It´s probably one hour of work.

Like a broken record. Alts or no alts the game is still dying.

The game is dying. Like a drowning person in a swimming pool. We all wish it were not true, but it is there in front our our eyes for us all to see. In fact its more like a murder, like a crime of passion before our eyes. Our beloved game is being killed by her once before loved ones. Take your foot off of the head of the person you hold under water in swimming pool and you save her life. For Command and Conquer it is all too late, it has already drowned.

Her owner don't really care because she is merely a business venture as soon as the share holders say no more then the life support will be switched off. I guess the replacement business venture waits in the wings poised ready to roll, ready to use any resources that might remain, servers etc.

The unfortunate truth is the game developers have run out of ideas to freshen up game to make game challenging again. The y have no interest. They have no new ideas. But so long as the share holders don't complain then the developers will not do anything.

If the game were not planned for termination and developers were looking at new ideas then the question remains "why have we not heard or seen any of the potential ideas being offered?" the answer is because you don't develop a dying game, there are no ideas being offered. So you run it down, you deplete the hunger and interest for it, then you let it die. RIP C&C.

Sad because i just like many others that play wish so much more for the game and we hold our breath waiting for revival or for news of great things coming but........... nothing. Latest server issues are just another way of trying to speed up the dying process.

Funny thing is we are told the game is not dying.... I say we have been kept in the dark like mushrooms too long and call on the believers of a future to prove it to us.

Happy New Year to you too. Many agree, alts have slowly killed the fun in this game. Unfortunately while they are perceived to offer advantages (or do offer them) they will continue to be used by some.

ya we got people coming in here complaining about it and then doing the same thing themselves. tokenting, uub, these guys are a genuine case in point. repeating the same things they complained about in the previous server, it allows them to dominate in a server where the top ten alliances consist of 6-8 cooperating teams its just no different. project or projekt take your pic, its been an entire year straight that i have not been able to enjoy a server because they are always one sided with no competition. i dont see any new servers being any different, im sure there will be a new FA no morale project server coming soon, not interested.

gamerdruid, Do not give resources for the base that is beaten by more than one player and there will be no alts. The game will turn from a broken into a working one. Some players will find it difficult to play as they have lost all their skills using alts)))
