Indeed EA/Envision killed all the competition with the Updates over the last years. But they have done that because of player´s behavior. So don´t blame them for that.
Today everybody knows that the updates are not good for the game at all and Envision / @EE_Elephterion is not reading the various threads about all these topics or he´s not interested in any further changes to that game. Otherwise I can´t explain these passivity. There are problems with pvp, teamplay, ressources, new worlds and so on and there is not one reasonable discussion about that. @Bruellhusten1 somewhere wrote something like “lets talk – we will find solutions”. He´s right about that. Why there is no meeting between longtime players and @EE_Elephterion to find a future for that game?
The communication here is really bad atm!
EE_Elephterion is the face of Envision on the forums, he does not however make decisions about the direction of the game. Why does he not have a meeting? The last time that happened there was a lot of animosity from those that weren't included. Perceived changes that came about after the discussion were attributed to the meeting and were felt by some to favour those not involved. As a PR exercise it failed!
.... stay healthy + talk to each other + find a solution for the game in general. There are still many guys that like that game and it would be shame if it ends that way.
Good advice - talk to each other. Accept that changes to the game happen and work around them, there's good examples of work arounds as well as bad!
Also, accept that this is a game for to make money and EA don't keep it going because of the love of the game or franchise, they do it because it earns $$$ for their shareholders.
