Just because Schaffa doesn't like a certain technique (using alts) which is completely legitimate (last I checked Schaffa wasn't the arbiter of what is allowed or not allowed on EA games) doesn't make this badge any less. Schaffa has chosen not to compete because they think they don't stand a chance of winning. Full stop. Everything talked about here is legal and allowed. Just because Schaffa wants things done a certain way because they prefer it based on their gameplay isn't the point. And it certainly doesn't prove that they are better. When did Schaffa's gameplay become the gold standard and only way to play? That's a lot of hubris coming from them.
From my experience with Schaffa/Mara/Nvidia; they are some of the best players around. But, this year Project leadership have been pouring time, and money developing tons of players, communication, pvp and account management and a whole host of other smaller details that make a huge difference on WCS.
Schaffa won fair and square in 2019 (even if EA mucked up the optics by introducing an event that Schaffa took advantage of). Just because Koegy and co don't like certain gameplay techniques or the ruleset doesn't delegitimize this WCS if they don't play. It just shows that their hubris is quite large and they don't truly enjoy a challenge. I am certain that they would lose a morale + FA world ruleset as well. Why? Because they haven't put in the time or effort that Project has in developing players to be better in all facets of the game.
