This issue is now solved - the developers stopped the challenge, fixed the black screen for GDI then restarted the challenge.

This problem will create an imbalance between accounts—not between alliances, since everyone is affected. But I am curious to see how EA will find a solution to balance GDI and NOD players.

I just keep getting this trying to log in and play. My other account does not do it.
Typical NOD takes advantage again ;-( and my accounts are GDI ;-(
same here for me, my gdi account has the same screen. And NOD works
