Views on new morale feature
Initial views I've received after a short time on the new PTE is that the new setting makes very little or no difference as the bases attacked by players are typically outside the range where the downing of morale of the forgotten bases is effective. At the start of this PTE the players I've discussed this with have been attacking bases 6-7 levels above their offense level. This setting maybe useful where there are no POI's on the world as it provides a boost that POI's typically would provide. PTE Reset April 21st, 2026 + New Feature
Hello testers! We will reset PTE on Tuesday, April 21st between 6:00 a.m. UTC and 10:00 a.m. UTC. This means all progress will be deleted and everyone will start from scratch. The configuration will be changed to no Forgotten attacks and no morale malus. Instead, we will test a new feature called "morale boost". In short, it works opposite from what you are used to in terms of the morale mechanic. Your troops gain a boost when fighting against enemies slightly above your offense level. The boost ranges from up to 25% increase, for offenses up to 1 level above, down to 0% boost for an opponent 6 level above yours. These values are subject to change and we will use the PTE to finetune these values depending on your feedback on PTE over the coming days. We thank every tester for their time and effort committed. With the situation that I personally witnessed in Firestorm 30, I would like to request for worlds with either no POI's or few and/or weak POI's to have something to bolster a player's ability to farm higher level bases. The idea works similar to infected camps, but on Forgotten Bases. Right now, there is no practical way to battle upgraded forgotten units, which I will also tackle. After building a level 14 Command Center, there should be a notification about infected Bases. These work like a combination between Infected Camps and Guardian Bases. A player who has a Command Center level of 14 or above would cause nearby lower level (about 2 to 3 levels lower) Forgotten Bases to mutate into a resource packed Forgotten Bases called Infected Bases. Within that base, the defense units will have either 1 of 2 things, the unit level will jump by 2 levels or the unit will have its upgraded variant. Basically, the Forgotten Unit in question gets an upgrade, on whatever the ability is supposed to be. The forgotten units don't have a page that describes their upgraded abilities, I would like to see that changed. In the base, the Defense Headquarters and Defense Facility would each yield a 24 hour RT crate, if destroyed directly. Standard infected structures will also replace some of the normal Forgotten Structures with their appropriate loot. Destroying the CY does not grant any of these specialized loot, you have to destroy each one manually, which means sharing the base is possible. If one leaves the base alone and doesn't destroy it, the Defense Facility and Defense Headquarters will regenerate, the other infected structures won't. The specialized loot however is a 1 time offer to players who attack the base. I understood that when a satellite was about to fall, a warning message would appear at the base to tell you to be careful. I want to suggest some changes, if it could be possible, to change the global continuous production of CP and RT and a player's max capacities... Let's say we bring the CP regeneration rate to 12/hour and the max capacity to 150. It will take 12.5 hours for this to fill, thus no need for a 3rd visit a day on accounts who don't use funds. The bonus capacity rates will then be 100, 250 and 975, respectively. The RT could follow a similar format, instead of 1 second worth of RT per real life second, it will be 1.2 for every 1 second. The capacity should max at 15 hours, thus it will take 12.5 hours for such to refill. The bonus capacity should increase to 7.5, 20 and 57, respectively. In the start of this server it was very strange to play without POI`s, but now I actually like it, since now we are all 100% even, now it`s 100% how good the alliance works, the person who play there matter. Therer are no "stealing POI`s" no robbing a whole alliance for it`s progress, which I think is very good. It could be fun to try play a full game without POI`s, then we can always talk about what is best, but for now, I would like without POI`s. Hello Testers! We are resetting the PTE! Reset will occur on Friday, October 24th, 2025, between 7:00 - 10:00 a.m. UTC. All progress in the world will be reset. We assume that the level cap is too high for the world to be really fun. That's why we need your feedback. Hi EE_kalyn : I was reviewing the PTE map when I noticed a player who had been destroyed, and when I looked at information about another player, I found that clicking on their base displayed information about their alliance. I cannot find that alliance in the list of alliances, and when I click on the alliance name, information about another alliance is displayed, where it was before. On the test server (PTE) with the latest version of Chrome, I wanted to attack an outpost that had a yellow alert icon. I simulate, start launching attacks, and suddenly I notice that the target information appears in the upper left corner: an outpost with a RED icon. (I don't have a screenshot of this.) Suddenly, I think I'd seen it yellow before starting the attacks, so I exit the attack view and check the icon on the map; yellow, just like I saw it before. Well, I return to the attack that was in progress on the outpost, and now it no longer shows me the target information I'm attacking, but rather a strange message, as if it were an error.
