Cannot create new alliance

I just left my alliance and cannot create a new one. I just get a error message "cannot create alliance". I know I can't rejoin my old alliance for 7 days, but I should be able to start a new one. A...

    Never mind. Turns out I have to just restart the page after each alliance action (create, dissolve or join).
