Easiest way to have local/lan game?

Hi all -

I played Red Alert when it was released, a long time ago, and now I'm hoping to play again with my son. I am seeing a few different options for setting it up, but not sure which is easiest.

We will only need to play local/LAN games, and we have a couple of Windows 10 machines plus a Mac Mini which I could boot camp to whatever OS is needed.

I specifically want to play Red Alert, the original!

My question is , what's the easiest/fastest way to get this up?
