email or password not recognised

Have you shared email/password combination with anyone? It is unlikely your account has been hacked in the normal sense of the word as they gain no financial benefit. There is a system for recovering passwords that have been 'forgotten', have you tried to recover your password. Have you tried logging in again with a different browser, clearing cache and stored passwords from the browser (or at least the passwords for the game) etc.?
