This morning there were problems accessing the substitute players but I just checked that it is now working normally. Although the servers are still under investigation.

We will check again once the issue is resolved.

Are servers running under Linux?

Many worlds are up and running now but I'm not sure the issue is closed.

We must wait for EA's comment.

NOT an EA comment, but I've been told by Envision that the issue is resolved and they are bringing all worlds back online.  They've also added time to the Easter Challenge.

During a normal working day they would probably have posted here, but .....

Hey Druid, tes time has been added for challenge but not for acc as sp/rt/cp or b+ clock so we are all loosing different things as u know 🙂

most of us remember the bad old days when the switch from the world servers to tiberium servers and the constant game down time which ensued with the coding changes to the game made then.

but most of us do fund here and  spend hard earned money , since we all know there is no easy money out there, so adding   a little EA honey to the pot , might sweeten the bad taste in the mouths of players who did not get to enjoy there C&C fix over Easter to the full 😉

Thx Druid and now we have info for the bug and the timers stopped on collecting cp-rt-sp for hours ?

Over the weekend that is what happened on some worlds - some worlds had to be restarted separately as they didn't pick connections correctly once the internal issue was resolved. 

Last night ea.com was being DDoS attacked - that was why logins were difficult.

I'm on vacation so don't see these issues as not online to play.
