servertime/-date wrong

There was an issue last week with the timestamp on the PTE, this was rectified. The reason given was to do with the move to the new servers which are located in a different timezone (the UK v Europe) and that the specification issued by EA didn't include using UTC (which is currently UK time -1 hr). They have included a correction to this in the 18.3 patch, I understand.

The server time is the time of the city/country where the server is hosted (Europe, UK, America…).
Local time is the time of the city/country you're playing (Berlin, London, New York…).
Each of them will have an appropriate deviation from the UTC/CET/GMT time.

Do server time need a fix?

Probably - but then it could cause problems if there is a software work-around-fix in place!

Please keep us informed about any display errors with times and time zones!
We implemented a fix for that on PTE already and hope this will bring an end to these issues.

On a side note, there is the option to choose a custom timezone in the options menu for display.
