‎The connection to the matchmaking server failed code: 429/0xffffffff‎

After multiple attempts to get EA/Respawn fix the serve issue I came up with nothing... spent hours on support chat, twitter, phone calls hunting for solutions...

I'm deeply dissatisfied with the service we are getting from a phenomenal game...

Please everyone report the issue to EA/Respawn here on help.ea.com and over at twitter:

@EAHelp

@Respawn

@Titanfallgame

they are somewhat aware of the situation as the server status webpage the PC server is RED

So please if you can report this issue as soon as you can !

Over Christmas break I bought Titanfall 2 on Steam so a friend and I could do mlutiplayer. Last weekend (~Jan 8th) we tried to play it but the servers were down. I checked again today and they are still down. Any idea if/when they will come back up, or will I need to do a refund?
I'd love to have some information about this, so if you know anything please respond.

@Jelkan Most likely it will never be fixed. Respawn and EA aren't even commenting on this anymore. If you can, get a refund. If possible, report the game as broken and ask it to be removed until a fix is available. This is absolutely criminal behaviour, selling games that obviously don't work as intended.

yeah fd is one of my favorite game modes too. I mean I'll take northstar over not being able to play but I get it since the lack of ai makes the game feel emptier even in standard ish modes like skirmish which is the closest northstar has to attrition.

Looks like the servers are back up now. Though the wait time for players is REALLY long. It may be because there are only 95 people online...

@demalo Had a 4 minute wait, it's 2 a.m. where I live so that's not happening, but I'm thrilled to hear there's positive news to be had! I'll try again tomorrow and hopefully I'll get to have a few matches worth of fun. Thanks for sharing!

@elektronkg today i've noticed some youtuber mentioning the servers are back in normality and ddos attacks are not so often happening.
Now that i've tried to connect i'm getting
code: 429 and code:0xffffffff

@sugamot0magazaki I assume the hacker/s picked up on that as well and decided to troll the community some more. This is why dangerous equipment requires license to use; idiots are going to cause damage and potential harm to others if allowed to.
