Hi,
Everyone is having that issue since the beta: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=83qaoZ39GSU
If you google "titanfall crossfire artifacts" you will see what I'm saying. 😕mileyhappy:
Hope for an answer and fix from EA on this because my friend (I'm actually in his house now testing that) is waiting to see if this gets fixed soon to be able to buy the game.
Turning off Crossfire helps but is not an option for him: he has a Radeon HD5970 which is a dual GPU card. If he turns off Xfire he gets low FPS on Titanfall.
Because we noticed this in the beta, we planned that I would buy the game first (beta was fine in my PC; I don't have a Crossfire setup) and that then we would test the game in his PC to check if it still had that Xfire issue. And if it had he wouldn't buy the game. Well, it turns out that the game came out with this massive issue. There's posts everywhere talking about this, videos, screen photos (not screenshots because when you take a screenshot of the issue, while it is happenning, the photo just doesn't show the artifacts. It shows an image of the game without the issue, no artifacts show up in the screenshot, weird).
I hope this gets fixed soon. When I can I will send a DXDiagnose of his PC.
Well, I can say too that with the old Catalyst 12.8 WHQL this doesn't happen. He can have Xfire ON, but since that drivers are too old he gets even lower fps than with the new drivers/Crossfire OFF.
