Can i transfer my progress from EA to Steam version of the game?

I was playing titanfall 2 for very long period of time, and now i can afford Ultimate edition of my beloved game. I'd simply by it in EA, but the Steam version is much cheaper. I don't want to start all over again, so...
If i buy the Steam Titanfall 2 Ultimate Edition, will my progress of the EA game be there, but now with all the cool features of the Ultimate Edition???

Hello, I'm sorry if you were still expecting an answer, but I just wanted to ask if you figured out whether you can transfer ea progress to steam because I bought it on steam thinking it would. Instead the steam version doesnt even exist and instead it will open the ea app version.
