CANT PLAY MULTIPLAYER!

@teddybearhugzz You should be able to do so from Control Panel > Network & Internet > Network Connections.

You should be able to disabled the duplcate adapters from here.

You may need to just disable "Microsoft Hosted Network Virtual Adapter", rather than all of your adapters, this may save you some extra steps.

@datBaxterDexter So I understand, does the connection go through eventually, is "forever" literal or figurative in this case?

If it's literal it sounds like you're affected by a network adapter issue. If you have more than 1 active network adapter an issue can manifest which prevents folks from connecting. If you disable the network adapters that you're not using then you should be able to connect.
