I expect this thread to be deleted soon to cover EA's tracks. The latest patch is preventing DX10 cards from running the game. It's a huge problem and is most likely the cause for the "private lobby crash."
I urge anyone who has a DX10 video card who is considering to buy the game to wait until EA/Respawn announce if they're going fix this issue.
