Does Titanfall 2 have a singleplayer skirmish mode?

I know it has a singleplayer campaign, but I'm also wondering if I'm able to play alone against bots or basic grunts in a normal skirmish/attrition match? I tried asking in the titanfall 2 forum, but...

    @Lucius_Confucius No, the campaign is the single-player content for the game. While there are some PVE elements to the competitive modes, they are all online and PVP-focused. 

    If a skirmish mode is added later we'll be sure to let folks know, but for now there isn't.
