Error "Invalid Server Address"

Unable to start the single player campaign. Error "Invalid Server Address".

I click to begin the single player campaign. I can hold space to skip the cutscene or view it until it gets to the next loading screen. As soon as the loading is done, a prompt to press space appears to begin. I press space, and the game booted to the main menu and greeted with the error "Invalid Server Address".

I bought the game via digital download with Origin.

i checked my firewall was turn off.
I switched to another play, (renew download 30GB!! so long time to download). It is the same. > error "Invalid Server Address"

i change network connection. It is same too.  > error "Invalid Server Address".

please help and how to fix

thank you

@athidswu Hmm, that's interesting. I'm going to interpret the error message as a misleading one. Looking into the rare reports of this happening to others it appears to only affect the single player. If you go offline completely, I think this issue will still persist.

I take i that you can play the online portion of the game without issue?

Can you try a Clean Boot to start, see if anything changes if you just start up the game with no other programs running?

I'm also throwing out a wild guess that you might have already addressed. Is your PC language one that uses the latin alphabet (usually English). If not, can you try creating an English Windows account and try that out?

Hi David, as someone else who is having this problem, I have tried your suggestion but it doesn't seem to work, but it was nice to at least be able to try a new method to resolve the issue. I've been with this for months while talking to other EA specialists who love giving me the same cookie-cutter solutions over and over. I was just curious if you had any other suggestions?

    Hey athidswu,

Is there any chance you could try re-installing windows and the Titanfall 2 game? Then you could try re-installing a single application, and testing Titanfall 2 before installing a another application. That might help us figure out what program (or driver) in interfering with the game.

    Hello @sketchygio @athidswu

Are you both still experiencing this issue? Can you tell me your region and you game/Origin client language settings?

    Cheers,

    Archi

    I can solve it.

I delete file on "windows/system32/driver/etc" "hosts"

It 's ok. I can play game now
And then I restore "hosts" after, I open the game again. It has old problem.

Conclude I must delete file "hosts" before enter game.

But My work program can't run.

    Thank you everyone.

    Hey EA_Archi,

Thanks for checking in. Yeah I'm still experiencing the issue, but I'm going to look into trying athidswu's solution. But for reference, I'm in the US region using default English settings.

    Thanks!

    Sir, you are an angel.

I can confirm that temporarily removing the hosts file from that directory allows the campaign to work! Thanks a ton man.

I am having the Same issue, I bought the game and installed it. After the cut scene I get this same error.

Cant get past it, If I close the window the game locks up. Re-installed the game and issue persists.

    Windows 7 SP1

Im not gonna do a re-install just to MAYBE get a game to work so hope someone figures out a fix.
