Escape key doesn't work in game Titanfall 2
So I just recently bought Titanfall 2. Almost immediately I noticed the escape key didnt work. Pressing it in game doesnt do anything and I cant figure out why. It works fine out of game, such as fullscreening a video, just not in a match. I've repaired it twice in Origin, Full uninstall and reinstalled it once, deleted the config file and restarted the game, and deleted the original config file and replaced it with a fresh one from someone who's game worked. Any help or ideas are welcome.

I've just jumped into the game to do some testing but the Esc key works fine for me in both singleplayer and multiplayer, so it's quite an unusual problem indeed 🤭
Just to check - do you have this line in your settings.cfg file for Titanfall 2?
bind "ESCAPE" "ingamemenu_activate"
