Explosions disappaered after upgrade to GTX 980/ update driver

TF worked fine on a GTX 750 TI (with i 2500k , 16 G RAM) , then i upgraded GPU to GFX 980 and upgraded my graphics drivers (now NVidia 368.22) Now the graphics performance is not OK since explosions...

    Nah, settings wouldn't be a factor. MSAA/TXAA settings shouldn't affect this sort of thing at all. 

    Thanks for the extra info, you were right to try the Clean Reinstall previously. However from the description it sounds like a driver error so I think a wipe and reinstall might be the best way forward.
