Are you calling at peak support hours? Overnight and weekends the service is greatly reduced, so wait times easily reach two hours (the onscreen timer is meaningless until it reaches four minutes and less). Daytimes, 10AM until 6PM are the best times, plus the 8AM to 10AM, and 6PM to 10PM segments are second-best.
What is happening, other than the time you have to wait was long?

Strange issue you have there. I was able to use chat right now. Can you try some other device (notebook or a pad) to use chat? You can always give EA Advisors a direct call, using this phone number +44203 014 1818.

The chat service is a bit lower on the priorities list... have you tried using the 'call me' button, try and do it when the wait time is less than or around 5-8 minutes.

Not all regions offer the call back option, however, you are correct that there does seem to be a faster response from that choice when it is available. Everyone should just ignore the onscreen timer. It's never been any use when it says that the wait time is any number larger than four minutes!
