Launch Without EA App

So I just spent a half hour getting EA to agree to let me launch a game I already bought. If EA insists on trying out it's own launcher, fine. But EA spends 5 more years working out the bugs, can we just launch games we already own? Like in the good old days?

Is there a "Launch as .Exe" button I am missing somewhere?

    Before the EA app you just launched through Origin though. Either way, the games won't work without going through their DRM.

    Which game are you having issues with?

    @Nyerguds Oddly, it's not a C&C game. Not sure how my post got here. It was Titanfall 2. Works now, it just took a while.

    Prior to origin and DRM games just ran on their own. I miss that. I need to be more careful when making purchases not to buy a game that requires a new launcher. I have too many already.
