Mouse4 (back button) Cannot Be Used for Voice Chat

I just got Titanfall and I am trying to remap the voice chat button from the default (z) to the Mouse4 (back button). In the key-binding settings screen it does show "Mouse4" when I press it to edit...

What kind of mouse? Did you download the software to configure your mouse? Sometimes you need to download and configure the mouse so the button is activated.

    I'm using a Razer Deathadder (wired). I don't believe I installed any special drivers or software for the mouse. The Mouse4 and Mouse5 buttons work fine in Windows/Chrome/Firefox and also in other games (Counter-Strike:GO).

    @kanc3rz: So I went and installed the Razer software for my mouse, but it did not change the issue at all.

    Surely I can't be the only one that wants to use the Mouse4/Mouse5 buttons?
