I've found a workaround to this issue. At least on my machine. Seems to be working fine now.

There is no way I am screwing around with my BIOS and locking my i5 (quad core without hyper-threading) down to one core every time I want to play. Thanks for telling us, solvalov, it's interesting info, but if the developers made a game that can't run properly on multi-core CPUs in the year 2014 I don't know whether to laugh or cry.
Please try this workaround. If the workaround is consistent with other players then its much easier for the developers to pinpoint and fix this issue faster.
