Re: Audio glitch with Expedition DLC (PC)

A moderator on respawn.com/forum stated this.

"If you are having issues with hissing audio... Respawn just found a fix:

Delete the following files in C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Titanfall\vpk\

client_mp_common.bsp.pak000_034.vpk
client_mp_common.bsp.pak000_035.vpk
client_mp_common.bsp.pak000_036.vpk
client_mp_common.bsp.pak000_037.vpk
client_mp_common.bsp.pak000_038.vpk
client_mp_common.bsp.pak000_039.vpk
client_mp_common.bsp.pak000_040.vpk
cam_list.txt

Then do a Repair Installation in Origin. It will redownload the files and decompress the audio."

My question is how to do the repair installation?

Just right click on the game inside your origin library of games and there should be an option to do that

Still no fix for me. Did exactly as stated. Shows there is a Direct X problem and that it's currently running or some BS upon install. Let's me play the game and everything after install, but I can't play the DLC maps without that disturbing audio problem.

I also did everything as described in so called solution - to no avail. Static won't go away, and it stops me from playing Expedition. I heard from some people that simply changing options in-game and restarting Titanfall could help but it also failed.

So, I'd like to ask to not mark this one as solved. I am wondering how many PC players are affected, maybe some specific setups are affected?

Soundcard in my case is built in Realtek ALC668 @ Intel Lynx Point PCH - High Definition Audio Controller
